Fright Night Part 2

Fright Night Part 2 ★★★

You know what the first Fright Night didn't have enough of? Bowling. And roller skating vampires. And Uncle Rico.

Charley Brewster is back, three years after the events of the original film. He's been working on his bowling skills (and his mullet) in college with a sexy new girlfriend, Alex. (Fuck that Amy chick, am I right?) He's convinced himself that Jerry Dandridge wasn't a vampire at all, and the events that took place years before didn't happen exactly how he remembered. Except, uh oh, one night he sees a sleek black limo pull up outside of his dorm, and two figures hauling in a coffin. Here we go again.

Fright Night Part 2 doesn't even come close to the original film. It's way duller and just doesn't have the hypnotic charm of the first. The plot is pretty much identical as well. But, it was still a mostly fun film, with an awesome third act full of vampire killing and an awesome score. I got chills when Dream Window came on. Compared to the first film, this is nothing, but on it's own it's a fine movie.
