Liam’s review published on Letterboxd:
Probably the least Tarantino Tarantino film since Jackie Brown. While definitely showing more restraint then previous of Tarantino’s movie in favour of the rich 1969 atmosphere, it still is a bizarre film, trying to figure out why somebody would make all these strange pacing/structural decisions. But it being a little weird doesn’t mean it doesn’t work, and for me it does work for the movie. Performances are also great no surprises there, with the best one being Leonardo DiCaprio, although Brad Pitt is awesome as well. Only weak performance is the child.
