In terms of pure filmmaking finesse, I might honestly go as far as to say that EL PATRULLERO surpasses even Alex Cox's own REPO MAN or SID & NANCY. Is it as good as those films? Fuck no! Eric Andre: Legalize Everything 2020
Was honestly a little put-off up until that very last bit, facetiming the dude's mom in front of the crowd. That, and his classic dick-tucking bit, really got me. It reminded of how sweet Eric can be, and that his eccentricity is natural to him, not performative at all. He's earnestly an oddball and very comfortable with that. Total freedom!
