I love Horatio with of all my heart
One of the main things that popped out at me while i was watching this was the camera work. The use of the fish eye lens, the cinematography, the zooming out and the transitioning are all so incredible.
Another thing that I noticed that works exceptionally well was the score. The classical music that played through parts of the movie was truly amazing.
Overall, The Favourite shines as a beautiful portrayal of love and affection doubled by the retaining pessimistic view on human nature that Lanthimos takes. I feel like the film also shows how our yearnings of love and affection are destroyed by a social structure.
