Aaron King’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is worse than I remember it being. I thought parts worked well but really it’s all just a giant mess. It’s got a set of good actors doing their best to sell it but the script is the issue. None of it interest me. The Joker side plot feels not needed and introduces a major character in a side plot to show how weird he is. Margot Robbie is great in this and honestly saves a lot of the movie. The sequel or soft reboot will be much better than this. I’m questioning if I ever liked David Ayer as a director or he just got lucky with two films.
