Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings ★★★½

I've never seen so much (bad) cgi in one movie.
This had so much potential.
The characters where pretty likeable overall and the villians premise was great for an mcu flick.
The first hour was pain in the ***.
The last 30 min where pure gold.
I absolutely love the world(building) in the third act.
The Soundtrack was good till amazing.
They should have avoided all the crappy comedy moments which ruind a lot of emotional moments.
If they had choreographed more combat scenes and used practical effects instead of cgi-ing everything that is on screen the movie would not only improve enormously in quality but also would have cost less than half of what they've invested.
I also would have enjoyed the movie much more if they had been more consequent with the language and not switched into english all of a sudden like every 5 min for no reason (there are litterally two native chinese speakers switching from chinese to english mid conversation for no reason like every few scenes).

It's overall decent but sad because this could have been so much more.
