    Tom Clancy's Without Remorse

I wish I could say I was without remorse watching this. Michael B. Jordan has the chops to be an action lead and he’s my baby, but this is not it. He's very mediocre with a few tiny bright spots sprinkled in. Though the entire production reeks of mediocrity, so it doesn’t come as a big surprise.

    Mortal Kombat

It doesn’t even function as a mindless action movie because the editing, pacing and screenplay are absolute garbage. It’s impossible to follow the nonsense “plot.”  There needed to be a lot more violence (and better action editing) and a lot less painful character work. This needs to go back to 2005 where it belongs.

American Sniper is a big pile of exploitive garbage that panders to its viewers with some of the most blatant ethnocentrism. America saves and destroys faceless Muslims for 2+ hours. It exploits patriotism and offers no depth to anything. Eastwood knows Americans will buy this as long as it's in the guise of patriotism. Although calling this patriotic is a joke. It's glorification of violence and America. We are better than everyone else. We are heroes. It's a disingenuous cash-grab.…
