David’s review published on Letterboxd:
There’s something so gratifying about cheesy operatic 90s action films: the constant barrage of convenient threats, the over-the-top stunts, the plethora of character tropes and the so-cheesy-it’s-good dialogue. Speed is a fun and technically efficient example of this. It really does a wonderful job of keeping the pacing and tension on full volume. The second ending isn’t necessary, but it’s still entertaining. This is also SO 90s, which I’m always here for. Surprised it took me so long to see this.
