Can’t tell if the Batman/Joker “you complete me” dynamic is played out or whether it’s refreshing to see in an Indian idiom. Either way, the way women are *used* to play that dynamic out is upsetting, even if what their fates say about the protagonists is condemning. Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s acting in this is some of the best I’ve ever seen, without exaggeration.

Now I remember why I put this as my favorite movie on Facebook when I first made my account in 2006.
