    Venom: Let There Be Carnage


    On a par with the last effort.
    The films still feel very very sparse and devoid of plot.
    The special effects felt more connected however this time and the chemistry of Venom and Brock was easier to accept with occasional chuckles from Venom lines along the way.
    The rest of the film though is not great and entire Venom films seem like a tough assignment to succeed in.

    Perhaps 5-10mins too long but always happy to enjoy an original story especially one as visually and audibly compelling as this. 
    Love Thomasin McKenzie and Taylor Joy and the way they are both living in each scene as one.

    For a film focusing on an astronaut with historic low blood pressure, as an audience member, mine was sky high. Left the cinema in a state of breathlessness and anxiousness.
    A space movie for grown ups.
    Luckily a lot of the trailer spots were in the first half of the movie which kept me on the edge of my seat with a confident and measured Brad Pitt performance similar to his behaviour in Moneyball.
