the fact that the movie doesn't take itself too seriously while maintaining a good emotional weight is fucking great, the pacing is fantastic, the characters actually have a personality, I just hope they let Gunn direct every movie about a misfits team from now on, if I wasn't sure about that with Guardians of the Galaxy, I am now.
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Why giant spiders? Why couldn't it be a giant beaver or a giant butterfly?
On a more serious note, this trilogy really is something else, the way it takes you and immerses you in the adventure is phenomenal and by the end of it you can actually feel the emptiness the Hobbits feel at that tavern scene. A part of you gets lost and stuck in time, but there's always another adventure to live through and another story to write.
