Allison M. 🌱’s review published on Letterboxd:
A "harmless" little film unless you consider why it's supposedly cool for women to aspire to the same level as violence as men. That being said, this sort of solidifies Karen Gillan as the action star she is. Michelle Yeoh has always been great at wielding weapons and it was great to see her here as well as Angela Bassett, Carla Gugino, and Lena Headey.
The diner scene weirdly channeled Baby Driver and I felt the henchmen and "boss" Nathan (Paul Giamatti) were way too cartoonish for me to feel threatened or invested in their part of the story. Otherwise, I really have no complaints.
