An interesting take on depression, family life and the importance of being there for one another. Felt true to life and Charlize Theron gives a really impressive performance. I also really like the actor portraying young Marlo. Youth is something wonderful that fades away like a nice cherised memory, and it is perfectly normal, and a part of life, in that way. Wanted a deeper ”gut punch” though....the film felt good and thoughtful but not fantastic.
