The film has a lot of potential but it doesn’t pay off, despite a fantastic cast.

An interesting take on depression, family life and the importance of being there for one another. Felt true to life and Charlize Theron gives a really impressive performance. I also really like the actor portraying young Marlo. Youth is something wonderful that fades away like a nice cherised memory, and it is perfectly normal, and a part of life, in that way. Wanted a deeper ”gut punch” though....the film felt good and thoughtful but not fantastic.

The best movie of 2017. I think about it alot and watch bits and pieces of it every now and then.

Into episode 4 and starting to feel some familiar vibes. I like the first three episodes and I am ready for the ordinary MCU finale.

After episode 4 Wanda’s grief becomes more visible and the show gets so much better. Also, high production value.

I knew the premise of this film going in, and I’ve heard the universal praise. This gave me expectations that were too high, which affected my experience and were most evident in the beginning of the film.

The second half is more intense. The ”voice actors” are extraordinary och the main character is awesome/fantastic. Towards the end the film is gut wrenching and you really suffer with all my characters despite the somewhat ”happy” ending.

A nostalgic trip back 1999/2000. This film was part of a streak of relationship/human behaviour-films from the 90’s (Adam och Eva being my favourite) and it somewhat skillfully talks about our primal way of thinking.

Funny, with a nice pace, but occassionally a bit outdated. Funny to see how small and major things have changed in our society within the last twenty years.

I heard really good things about this one beforehand, high expectations in other words.

I just finished the film a minute ago and what I can say is this: the film deals with the trickiest/hardest question of them all. In the end I actually believe that the film provided me with a beautiful answer, but cannot explain what that answer is, even though I feel it deep inside. When/after you achieve a goal in life you are still the same…

A cozy family film, and it reminds me why Harrison Ford is awesome. May he never stop making movies.
