Jacob’s review published on Letterboxd:
Won’t prentend this isn’t overlong and a little all over the place, but I laughed a ton watching it. It’s a fun time at the movies. The two leads have such an electric chemistry that every scene of them on screen together left me smiling. I drafted a longer version of this review where I got into how the false tension and red herrings frustrated me, but honestly? I still enjoyed myself the whole time.
Not to pit the “more than brothers, but not quite wives” against each other, but I’d rather see Pitt get the big awards push this year (even if Margaret Qualley gives the best performance of the whole ensemble.)
