letterboxd it's been a while! I had never seen this movie, but I watched it after confusing it for a long time with "The Impossible Voyage". anyway, this whole film made me absolutely trip out on attachment styles, and how intense it is to have, or need, a dad. It's not right! Anyway I Loved it

I hadn't seen this in maybe 5 years and rewatched it tonight. A brutal script in a way only Elaine May can deliver. I remember hearing an anecdote about how all the men in her acting class were terrified of her because she was so smart she scared them. Good! Happy Taurus Season Elaine
