Joe Grabinski’s review published on Letterboxd:
Leigh Wannell is such a stud. I’ve always been a fan. He seems quite likable and humble. Who would’ve thought he’d surpass Wan as a director?! Brilliant script as well.
Elisabeth Moss’ performance is masterful and award worthy.
One of the best studio horror movies of the last decade or so. On par with Peele’s stuff.
The best depiction of emotional abuse and manipulation I’ve seen on the screen. I imagine there were a lot of uncomfortable dates for people who saw this without knowing the subject matter.
