This is one of the most unique film experiences I've had in a very long time. It was like a sensory experience. It's such an entrancing and mysterious journey, worth getting into. Thought-provoking, intriguing, understated, enigmatic and profound. I was immediately drawn to its sonic experimentation.

This is really a strange film, not only because of its poetic, psychological and metaphysical nature or supernatural undertones, but also because of its use of sound and its enhancement of…

First off, I'd like to point out three relevant aspects from this film.

-Sean Penn laughs exactly like Precious Pupp.

-Little Gary is an actual creep.

-If your penis is circumcised, "THEN YOU ARE A FUCKING JEW!"

This movie really did make me smile and crack up a couple of times! Most of the humour was on point. However, It was a bit disappointing. Maybe, I set my expectations too high.

    I found the film a bit disjointed. I didn't…

An intriguing slow-burning religious horror drama immersed in a bleak, dreadful, eerie atmosphere that does enhance this sense of oppression; it almost feels claustrophobic.

The story is totally disturbing and depressing, resembling a sort of Romeo-and-Juliet type of tragedy about a forbidden love between two women in 1840.

It's a sufficiently well-crafted film led by strong performances from its cast and boasting splendid production design and visual style, and a hauntingly beautiful score.

This is the directorial debut from Edoardo…

Smart, creative, colourful, provocative, hard-hitting, frantic, surreal, stylish, audacious, multilayered, aesthetically pleasing and energetic. Led by an exquisite performance from Ami Tomite.

A fascinating examination of female sexuality in Japanese culture, offering a feminist perspective on many relevant aspects such as virginity, pleasure, freedom, identity, whoredom, amongst others.

Antiporno is a boundary-pushing project from Sion Sono, unsparing in its criticism of societal views on sex and gender, especially when it comes to female sexuality and empowerment. Highly recommended!

I was really excited to watch this film, and it managed to pleasantly surprise me and disapppoint me in equal meassure.

Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett got very creative with the kills, which are amazing. Likewise, the sound design is impeccable and it does a good job at building suspense. The cast is great too. It was cool seeing Sidney, Gale and Dewey, but they are underutilised here, which is a shame. And, Sam is honestly not an interesting leading…

This a very faithful rendition of Shakespeare's play. Quite mesmerising!

Compelling, visually stunning, meticulously crafted and brilliantly acted.

Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand are phenomenal, but the standout is Kathryn Hunter, who plays the three witches. I loved the scenes she's in. She's absolutely breathtaking.

I'll definitely be rewatching this soon.
