    Campy slasherism. I’ve actually seen this since my previous more negative review. It’s perfectly watchable and more sleazy (all the teachers and adult figures want to fuck Jill Schoelen) and cynical (mentally ill people can’t be cured) than most of the slashers of the late 80s. It has a fairly low body count, and misjudged humour, but for the most part is just another fun Schoelen vehicle.

    How good is Yachie Matsui in this? One of the best child performances in a horror type film.

    I am so happy to see this unseen footage from Superman II that I find it hard to be objective. There are logistical problems to Superman’s solution to Lois throwing herself out of the Daily Planet’s window (why did no one see Clark shooting a red lazer from his eyes?), which evaporate in the Niagara falls version of this sequence from the theatrical cut.
