I appreciate how gonzo the last thirty minutes are with the reveal of her conjoined twin brother’s remnants in her brain taking over her in entirety and using her body to go — somehow — full superpowered badass. I like the note of the ending with the sisters’ connection reaffirmed and the lead dame taking control of her own story fully. But overall this really didn’t work for me. That wig! The acting! The queasy use of domestic violence! It’s arch and ridiculous but I just couldn’t get on its wavelength even though there are aspects of it I appreciate.
