  • Dark Passage

    Dark Passage

Really dug the choice of not showing Bogart in the first half

  • Annette

I was told Adam Driver literally sang inside Marion Cotillard when he went down on her and I was fully lied to

  • The Suicide Squad

    The Suicide Squad

It’s over indulgent and disgustingly gruesome to both it’s detriment and success. I like the idea of the squad being in a schlocky B movie action/horror flick but it’s just borderline offensive to the eyes. I still enjoyed it though shockingly enough; the characters work way better as a team compared to the first suicide squad yet it still couldn’t entirely shake the sloppy introduction of the character’s backstories (still done better than the first one though). It also couldn’t…

  • Pray Away

    Pray Away

This is a very important story to be telling and worth hearing but I believe it’s not entirely inclusive and representative on a wider experience. It really only scratches the surface. That being said I would much rather see Ryan Murphy shift into his documentary producer era and leave being a show-runner behind.

  • Vivo

I know the two films had differing productions but it’s kind of a funny coincidence that LMM is in two Latin centered projects from this year with a colorism issue…

Beyond that a really pretty movie. The 2D animated parts are particularly beautiful and the real heart of the film. Juan de Marcos González breathed a lot of life in the first 20 minutes of the movie and I was sad to see him go. LMM should ONLY write the songs from here on out….

  • Hudson Hawk

    Hudson Hawk

Richard E. Grant and Bruce Willis’ quadruple ear piercing are doing all the heavy lifting here

  • Ain't Them Bodies Saints

    Ain't Them Bodies Saints

It’s fine. Well made, well acted. Like Lowery’s other films more

  • Wish Dragon

    Wish Dragon

A cute spin on the rags to riches and Aladdin story. Really liked John Cho as Long. Goes to show we need more movies featuring dragons

  • Daddy and the Muscle Academy

    Daddy and the Muscle Academy

Love and agree with Tom’s view on the human body and it’s form and being able to find the beauty in its simplicity, buuut not sure about his depiction of black men…

  • In the Heights

    In the Heights

Production design, choreography, and songs and music are all great but I won’t lie when I say the casting issues kinda ruined my enjoyment.

Also Lin’s whole get up was the least convincing thing in this movie bruh looked undercover

  • Did You Wonder Who Fired the Gun?

Did You Wonder Who Fired the Gun?

White people are pure fuckin evil and this pretty much proves it

Also should’ve been a podcast because almost none of the shots are interesting to look at

  • Ashes of Time

    Ashes of Time

This might be the one instance in which I was more interested in Wong Kar Wai’s action over his characters
