A fun but dark atmosphere created by this film. Its setting in an outlandish version of NYC is interesting. The scene with the guy explaining the significance of God in his life and the opposing view points in the scene of the wedding were both terrific and probably the best scenes in the entire film. Movie did feel like it dragged on a bit tho.
We truly live in a capitalist society. Such a solid and consistently funny comedy. Every scene had something to laugh at and it really catches you off guard with the jokes sometimes. Also some incredible on going bits throughout the film. It has impeccable dry humor, its finger prints are on a bunch of films and shows that came after it. Its social commentary is clear but very much relatable to anyone working a job just for the money.
Me at the end of the film: That was a great ending! That was a really good movie! That was a great movie! That was a reallly good movie!
I really had no words immediately finishing this film other than it was really good. Again, the ending was really good.
The amount of tension between the two lead actresses was so intense to a a point that it was frustrating. They really made me feel as if they were actually falling…
