So surprise! New marathon time. I wanted to do Indy this time but after listening to the Muppets to help cope with some shit, I knew this had to be my next review marathon.
Many have wonderful memories with the Muppets because of the comedy or the fun puppet design or the fun cameos. I have a connection because of their music, and I'm more than sure that many people have the same. I grew up with the Muppets music instead of VHSs of the films and episodes. It was always there for me growing up. Then I learned about the show and films. At first watch, I didn't like them when I was younger, but then I grew to love many of them. This one, the love hasn't changed since back when. I genuinely love this film. During a time of relapse today, this really helped me cope with myself and such. Why? Not because of the puppets (even though they're fucking great). Not because of the comedy (even though it's really funny). Not because of the cameos (even though they're genuinely gut busting). Because of that fucking music. Man do I love this soundtrack. I know for a fact that I'll be listening to the whole thing on repeat on my daily drives. Rainbow Connection still makes me cry with happiness. God do I love this film. God is it awesome. I highly recommend it for any new Muppets fans and a rewatch for any Muppets fans.
