More than 60 years old, Psycho is still an incredibly gripping and horrifying viewing. Easily my favourite Hitchcock, this film is incredibly tense. Bernard Hermann's score is fantastic and the cinematography was amazing. I really liked the editing especially during THAT SCENE, the fast pace really helped the intensity of the scene. Norman Bates is a fascinating character as is Marion Crane and the performances from the two helped me get invested in their character. The screenplay is really impressive and the story is incredibly innovative, with multiple twists and turns. If you have not you NEED to see Psycho a.s.a.p. One of my favourites!

Wow! I really enjoyed this! All the performances are amazing and Bernie is an incredible villain. I loved how it was shot and all the vibrant neon colours. The music was really great and Refn's direction was amazing, the elevator scene in particular. There was some really amazing editing choices that I really liked too! I also really liked the score. I cant say I felt overly attached to Ryan gosling's character although his performance was amazing.

Wooooahh!!! Se7en is absolutely gripping. I loved it, especially its grim atmosphere. The colours are so dark, with constant rain and traffic, really shows the gritty world the characters live in. The script is incredible, all the characters are really great and the performances are amazing. I also loved the score, especially during the last 20 minutes.

Birdman is completely fantastic and I really loved it! The film is made to look as if it is one shot and they pulled it off incredibly well, with loads of beautiful moments. The screenplay is incredible, critiquing the entire entertainment industry. All the dialogue is amazing and the characters are written perfectly. The performances are amazing and really interestingly cast, having 3 stars from superhero films. I loved the score and it was used so well, adding loads of personality and at times tension to the film. Birdman also has some incredible direction. I really recommend it!
