"I ain't afraid of dying. I've done it already,"
Visually, this is a goddamn masterpiece. Narratively, however, it isn't anything groundbreaking. But unlike some, I think it's executed quite well, leaving us with a film that's the perfect balance of art-house and mainstream. Vicious, unforgiving and visually dense, the film is also lead by Iñárritu's strong direction and the great performances from the cast, especially from Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy (who easily steals the show in my opinion).
Also, *that* horse scene.
