Weird.

This movie is very well written, so well connected first and third acts, wonderful symbolism, and very wise acting to be built towards the end.

Yet, the whole second act, is built to one scene, in which Cpl. McBurney finally takes the hand of Edwina and puts to screen the obvious sexual tension which the whole second act was built upon. This cannot hold a whole act, no drama, or wise dialogue, no real character development or wise story…
