Dylan S. Pumpkins’s review published on Letterboxd:
As close to perfection as any earthly film can achieve. A workout tape for the soul. David Bryne’s moves here are so indescribable, moving like plasma between meek nervous energy and full on demonic possession, yet so rooted in a primal understanding that it’s easy enough to groove along at home. That one two punch of “This Must Be the Place” followed by “Once in a Lifetime” is so life-affirming in times of turmoil like this. If you watch one movie this week to combat the stress, uncertainty, anxiety, futility, just overall weight of the world right now; make it this one.
Catch me dancing alone with my lamp by the end of the week.
