One of the most infinitely re-watchable sports movies. Sure Costner's philosophy questioning asides are painfully self conscious. And there is a ton of 90's blockbuster cheese injected into the middle of this twinkie. But I dare anyone to not enjoy him hustling locals by playing with a shovel or only his 7 iron. Or cringe with introspection at the self destructive pridefulness of making the green in two. I'm not saying it's an all time great film, but I sure as hell have a hard time turning it off every time it pops up on the Golf Channel.

Not really a documentary, more like somebody just compiling a bunch of home movies taken by the talented cast of Wet Hot American Summer during filming and giving us a behind the scenes on how much fun it would be to hang out with that many funny people before they get famous. Strictly for die hard fans of the movie only, this is really just an extended DVD extra. But holy cow, it's damned funny. Now I see why every comedy is required to have Paul Rudd in it, they just want this sarcastic ass hat hanging around and cracking wise with everybody. Dude is funny.

From reading other reviews, I think MacFarlane in casting the lead role to MacFarlane vastly overestimated the audience's tolerance for his smug face saying smug lines. I honestly think he may have cast himself just for the chance to make out with the smoking hot Theron a couple times. And if so, then bravo.

I didn't laugh as much as I wanted to, but I shut the brain down and had a good enough time with it.

The animations looks great, the voice work is servicable, but the script is just kind of meh. Kids were entertained, dad was not.
