At times it felt like movie tries too much; there is a lot going on in there, and it’s kind of messy.
Nevertheless, it’s pretty good. It starts like a supernatural horror, slowly transforming into psychological mystery-drama as it goes on.
It’s definitely flawed, but thrilling and intense, and ngl, i enjoyed this a lot.
The definition of a thriller. The entire movie keeps you under so much pressure, you forget to breathe sometimes. This was emotionally draining. At times even hard to watch and so brutal; even though if you think about it, there isn’t much depiction of the violence itself – the movie just manages to create a really disturbing and uncomfortable atmosphere. You grieve with the characters, and you feel their pain.
Everything about this movie just seems right: the cinematography, spectacular performances…
