B-Man’s review published on Letterboxd:
Finally a movie about LA that isn’t so fucking depressing. Pitt and Leo star in the unexpectedly upbeat Tarantino hang-out movie that really rocks even with some uneven scenes and Cliff Booth upstaging the shit out of everyone.
Maybe the first of QT’s where the music and plot come second to character and setting, while not as blood pumpingly cool we get a relaxed and VERY funny through the mellowest, hippest age of Hollywood.
In the end it’s like the Universal Studio Tour led by Tarantino, see some cool actors, great locations and it’s ending is even better than the mechanical Jaws shark.
