Kind of ironic that Tarantino, the man who adamantly insists he's retiring after his next movie because he believes directors lose their power as they age, should seemingly rubbish that entire theory by crafting one of his best, most mature, introspective works at the supposed tail end of his career.

Robbie as Tate, feet up in the cinema watching the real Sharon, quietly basking in the audience enjoying her work may genuinely be among the sweetest and most wonderful scenes ever put to film.
