An otherwise fine and cheerful film marred by a very extensive blackface sequence from fred astaire.

In a strange way I wish this had been a film I saw as young teenager, seeing a little girl express pure rage and have that justified, validated and revered, would have been and is important to me.

This was worse than I remembered (hard to fathom but true) but I have a soft spot for Vin Diesel.
