What I love about cinema (and literature) is that while these stories and characters exist within a specific time period, they still have a sense of timelessness, a universality. I still find myself and my experiences reflected in these wonderful characters. And I think this film brilliantly captures a lot of special moments and it has so many small instances that are just golden. It’s humorous, emotional, poignant, and very very touching. Plus it has an amazing cast and of course, an iconic director. Honestly, I really love this film and I really love Greta Gerwig’s work, I can’t wait to see where she goes next.
