Heartbreaking and truly empathetic. This could only work as cinema. The editing is outstanding. The script stands above any others when it comes to those that are attempting to tackle these matters. Superbly crafted film that feels both classic and envelope pushing.

Altman's "comeback" is the most entertaining film he ever made. However that doesn't mean that it's any less artistic. Tim Robbins' best movie. I'm not sure this is such a "biting critique" of the Hollywood machine as much as it is someone just cinematically presenting facts that even the subjects find hilarious.

The moment you realize your foot has been happily tapping along with the pulsating score for the last 5 minutes but then your'e also crying - sudden, indescribable flushes of emotions. Yeah, that happens like three different times in this film. A masterpiece that needs to be restored now.

Kinda like mother! but hilarious. And somehow more tense. Wonderful writing and lively acting across the board.

Okay this is good. Four films into this MonsterVerse, each one having their own thing is nice.
