It’s pretty cool how John Woo initially didn’t wanna do Sci-Fi movies (turning down Face/Off initially) then he made this one that it was begging for his insane Face/Off visceral experience but sadly made this relatively toned down even being PG-13, while it is neat it’s a bit disappointing when you see other Philip K. Dick adaptations that the directors made their own even Spielberg, but for what it is I was thoroughly entertained and funny how I believed Paul Giamatti‘s relationship with Affleck then with Thurman.

Less John Woo-y then I imagined but still good.

Like could I have picked a more perfectER movie to watch on my birthday for the first time?! My mind>>>>

Also John Woo can you please never make a movie without people dying? Like moving out of your comfort zone is for nerds, make a Shakespeare adaptation with the protagonists having dual wield guns blazing everyone.
