My real reaction is to just whimper in the fetal position.
But I want to highlight the genius of the simplicity of it: no sets, very basic costumes, less than 10 actors who slip in and out of various characters. Richard Topol as Lemml the Stage Manager, who is the only actor to play just one role, is so heartbreaking and sympathetic.
