What an insane pastiche of a movie. I can't even totally parse if all the borrowing gels into a voice of its own, but it is undeniably memorable. What also really helps is some pretty great special effects works as does Michael Ironside, naturally.

Also, how is it I haven't heard of any other Wendy Lyon horror roles? She's *fabulous* in this.

Ok not good but credit where credit's due, most horror movies wouldn't kill the most annoying character so quickly.

Gotta say it's a little fucked up how the great triumph of this series is framed as Beth Harmon following the guidance of a couple of men.
