Damn... What a good ass anime lol. Very few animes that I saw actually seemed to get better and more intriguing as it got along, tbh, I think this is the only one that made me feel that way. Every episode, something new and interesting happens, there are no fillers to be found, it just goes straight to where it wants to go, and I really love that.

And, as you've noticed, the story is SOOO cussing good that it's…

  • My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising

    My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising

So, from what you could tell from my Two Heroes diary entry, I have, in fact, watched most of the anime "My Hero Academia" (still need to watch the 5th Season lol). And tbh, I'm really liking it so far. It's not the most amazing anime out there, but I still think it's pretty darn great overall. The stories it has to tell, the characters within them, the animation that tells these stories, they're all honestly pretty well developed.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

So, some of you might be wondering where the cuss have I been all this time without writing a single review through all this month, and if it wasn't obvious, I was having a little break, since my life has been a lot more busy than it was before, and I really needed to take a break out of LB. And what I've been watching might be more of a surprise to some, but to others, not so much.

  • The Prince of Egypt

    The Prince of Egypt

So, after 200 years, I finally rewatched "The Prince of Egypt". For those who know me by the longest time, you surely must've heard me singing praises to "The Prince of Egypt" for like, 1000 times. And there's a mostly rational reason for that. I had already watched this film ever since I was a no-brain child.

But around 2019 was when I really understood the magic behind this movie. It really came around a time I needed to watch…

  • Singin' in the Rain

    Singin' in the Rain

Such a charming and wonderful experience that I can only find in this one film. The acting is fantastic, has an extremely entertaining story, fantastic musical sequences, all that good stuff that you would expect from a near-perfect musical.

To me, this is just one of those all-time classics that makes me feel incredibly well on a bad day. Please... PLEASE check it out if you are 100% sure that musicals are your thing. Definitely going to rewatch it more in the future.

  • The Tatami Galaxy

    The Tatami Galaxy

So, this choice was completely random. I was wondering what I would watch next after the magnifiqué of a film that was Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. And my mind immediately thought of an anime. Even though animes aren't really one of the things I love the most in this universe, and I also have seen one not too long ago (quick shoutout to ERASED).

But then, while I was searching for the animes I could log in…

  • Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit

You know those times when life is just too damn boring? Nothing happens every single day, and you just wish that there was something, or even someone, to come and remind you, that there still lies meaning in life, and that you still make a big part in it.

Those times, my friends, are the times in which God says to you, that you need to watch Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit.

I'm not sure if it's a good thing that I am liking more animes than I did back then..... But anyways, this is surprisingly pretty good! It has a great and engaging story, and has a shocking amount of likable, and kind of wholesome characters.

It can sometimes be too predictable on some twists (specifically of who the true culprit is), but I still found myself to be very hooked by it, and always wishing to see more of it,…

  • Before Midnight

    Before Midnight

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Some of those who saw my diary entries recently, probably know that I've been watching the Before Trilogy. And this will be kind of a retrospective about the overall trilogy, with the perspective of someone who first watched the 3 films not too long ago, along with what I think about this one in particular.

And beggining with the one that no one thought I was going to talk about first: Before Sunrise. Seeing this for the first time almost…

  • Full Metal Jacket

    Full Metal Jacket

I really don't think most people are gonna agree with what I'm about to say, regarding this movie... but you know what, cuss it: Full Metal Jacket is, in my opinion, a very good movie (I know, right?). Unique direction (as expected), beautiful cinematography, some really nice visual effects, and interesting characters.

And the first act is also really fantastic, introducing these random guys into becoming killing machines, it's all real good. The mistake that bothers me tho, is how…

  • The Big Lebowski

    The Big Lebowski

Possibly the only movie where pissing on some random guy's rug is a tremendously important plot point.

  • Amadeus

Possibly the greatest movie you'll ever have the pleasure to hear about. And heck, why wouldn't it be?
