    The Darjeeling Limited

    ★★★½

Found the story pretty lackluster but those three brothers just got something about them.

I feel like this movie draws a nice conclusion but then somewhat goes back on it. The brothers seem to overcome they're cultural ignorance and empty search for some sort of "awakening" in they're grief at the funeral yet then proceed with they're weird spiritual shit not long afterwards.

    72/100

  • Rushmore

    Rushmore

    ★★★½

How could you turn down a guy that built an aquarium, saved Latin and created the "best play ever" for you?

The fact that Max basically attempts to murder Herman twice is just brushed over.

    74/100

  • Punch-Drunk Love

    Punch-Drunk Love

    ★★★½

An Adam Sandler character with genuine depth? Nice.

One of the most beautifully shot movies I've watched. I firmly believe that every socially anxious man has a breaking point that if reached will turn them into a stonecold badass that's unstoppable in combat.

  • Dead Poets Society

    Dead Poets Society

    ★★★½

The acting touch, had the late Neil Perry,
He looked so much, like a young Jim Carrey,
Unjust what befell, the poor John Keating,
Mr. Nolan got horny, when he gave that beating.

That suicide twist was seriously unexpected. Everything that followed it was phenomenal (infuriating, upsetting and wholesome).

    72/100

  • Training Day

    Training Day

    ★★★½

Snoop Dogg in a movie about drugs? Nice.

Denzel Washington made Alfonzo so intimidating that I apologized to the character 5 times during the coarse of the movie and thanked him for his time when it finished.

    74/100

  • Loki

    Loki

    ★★★½

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Loki can materialize stuff, create clones of himself, change his appearance and apparently lift a falling building with his mind. Is he fully aware of what he can do or does he just decide to be random and inconsistent with his powers?

Am I stupid or smart for thinking a majority of this doesn't make sense?

    73/100

  • Black Widow

    Black Widow

    ★★★½

Has Dom Toretto seen this movie? He'd love it.

I now have a thing for Russian accents. Ray Winston was amazing.

    72/100

  • Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues

    Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues

    ★★★½

Ron Burgundy wears a Burgundy coloured suit, coincidence or a piece of cinematic genius?

That fight scene is hilarious, Brick Tamland is not.

    61/100

  • WandaVision

    WandaVision

    ★★★½

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

Could Wanda seriously not so much as apologise to the people of Westview for the literal torture she put them through?

Those first few episodes were properly eerie. Agatha would've suited a pantomime better though.

    73/100

  • Spider-Man: Homecoming

    Spider-Man: Homecoming

    ★★★½

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

How many times did Peter and Ned say "awesome" between them? Must've been the most used piece of dialogue.

The highschool drama is the most entertaining part of this.

    67/100

  • Doctor Strange

    Doctor Strange

    ★★★½

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

That's a pretty nifty time travel trick that Strange uses on Dormammu, too bad it will never be used for the rest of the MCU series.

Those trippy, psychedelic-like visuals were amazing. Some of the MCU's best fight scenes.

    72/100

  • Captain America: Civil War

    Captain America: Civil War

    ★★★½

The Pym particles can make things larger you say? Now I'm interested.

It would be hilarious if Hulk was in the midst of this. He'd kill like 3 avengers.

    70/100
