Bob McCully’s review published on Letterboxd:
My 2nd time watching this early Carpenter flick and despite it being on the big screen my feelings have remained the same.
Feels like it lands squarely between Assault on Precinct 13th's minimalist dread and Big Trouble in Little China's world-building BUT not quite "taking me there".
Still, I love John Carpenter - his sleek genre pursuits and synth scores that bubble up the darkest tension.
So not a top 5 but one to add to my collection because I worship this type of 80's celluloid sorcery.
