The movie is good when you watch it without taking anything serious to the point of nitpicking it. It is the fact that it’s a movie that is aware of the fact that it’s not serious, and it made sure that we as the audiences see this and are reminded of it.

Both Emma Thompson and Emma Stone did a remarkable job carrying these roles, but the way Stone helmed the role is what made me write this essay. In doing that, I was able to pay homage to how previous iterations were and what made this one in particular, very unique and interesting.

Making the dalmatians evil in the sense that they were responsible for the murder of her mother and then not developing that storyline — even after abducting those dogs — was a bit of a letdown. I do hope the sequel develops this even further.
