This is a comic book masterpiece (even though I hate the word "masterpiece).

Director James Gunn knew how to craft a crazy movie with a weird story of super-villains attempting to kill a star fish. I was tad upset for some characters who died like Boomerang, he just got a clean refurbishment and he went off like that. Flag was the absolute best and didn't deserve to go out too. I get that we cannot have a movie like that…

    Space Jam: A New Legacy

    ★★★★½

This movie was NOT trash! I think it took me realising that I am no longer young, which is why I get people who found it cheesy, corny and goofy.

I did not watch the first Space Jam movie to prepare for this one, but I am somehow, familiar with the first film. The VFX...CGI was overly exaggerated and very juvenile but still fun. I have to say though that the story was not completely strong. It felt too weak…

    ★★

One thing about Paul W. S. Anderson, he will make a loud, heavy, action-packed movie with his wife being a badass.

Milla Jovovich and Tony Jaa were amazing. When they first met and had to fight each other, I thoroughly enjoyed their fight scene despite it being filled with unnecessary jump cuts. I was, somehow, disappointed at the characters that were killed off - the ones who arrived with Artemis in that monster world as I would have loved to…

    Black Widow

    ★★★★★

The movie mirrored 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)' and I'll explain towards the end of this review.

Thing is, I thought the backstory was going to be like 'Naked Weapon (2002)' and current events written like the movie 'Salt (2010)'. Those are the expectations that I had because that's the story concept of Natasha Romanoff that I have had in my mind for a long time. However, this was not the case as the backstory was rolled into some…

  • Chaos Walking

    Chaos Walking

    An absolute TRASH!

Amazing and talented leading cast. Daisy Ridley and Tom Holland couldn't save this movie even if they tried. For a project that has been in production since 2017, it was disappointing to see what they ended up with.

The writing of the chemistry that Todd Hewitt and Viola Eade were supposed to have, was bad and forced. This despite the fact that both cast members acted this out and owned the material. It was just badly written…

  • Mortal Kombat

    Mortal Kombat

Disappointing! The first act or first 20-30min were solid hence the one star. Lewis Tan is an amazing actor but he worked with bad script, awfully bad directing and some cast members had flat acting while others exhumed over the top theatrics.

I expected to see the champions fighting, which is basically what the whole series is about. However, the premise of this one was Cole Young being prevented from reaching his full potential and all abilities that he possesses…

    ★★★

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

The movie is good when you watch it without taking anything serious to the point of nitpicking it. It is the fact that it’s a movie that is aware of the fact that it’s not serious, and it made sure that we as the audiences see this and are reminded of it.

Both Emma Thompson and Emma Stone did a remarkable job carrying these roles, but the way Stone helmed the role is what made me write this essay. In…

Why did he have to kill every single character in the movie? For no reason at all. At least the child survived. This movie is easily one of Dave Bautista's greatest body of work. He is truly the best actor out of the top three wrestlers-turned actors. He is obviously followed by John Cena with Dwayne Johnson the worst.

Anyway, the trailers sold an idea that the 'army of the dead,' was going to be the main story. And that…

  • Watchmen

    Watchmen

This film is an acquired taste, good and but one might find it too long and unnecessarily dragging elements that shouldn't be dragged. It is easily one of the best comic book movies ever made and arguably helped pioneer comic book movies. Director Zack Snyder was in his bag with this one.

I enjoyed it, despite my partner falling asleep mid the movie couple of towns. It was good and the characters were well written, and the majority of the themes that Zack touches on were quite interesting. The visuals were amazing, the CG too perfect and the acting was well balanced by all characters.

  • Tom Clancy's Without Remorse

    Tom Clancy's Without Remorse

    ★★

This movie felt like a revengeful movie that we have all watched before. The only thing in such cases we look forward to, is the acting, action sequences, fighting choreography, and how intense some level-headed scenes are.

I personally find Michael B Jordan's acting average. He is unable to give off that 'vengeance...seeking' husband and father-to-be. With that said, a couple of people show brought their A-Game to the game. One, in particular, is Jodie Turner-Smith - she was amazing…

The movie is a bit solid...not bad-BAD but also not good. It was...an action movie. A very short one at that but then making it longer would have dragged it even though giving more insight into the training that all the 'future' people went through and how they built the time travel technology (if this was explained I'm sorry but the unequalised audio on the dialogue is reponsible for this). The future was far more interesting, that everything that was…
