    Open Season

Not offensively bad, but pretty boring. With some bad acting. And the people looked weird.

It was kinda gay tho so that's cool

  • Loki

I liked it! Mainly because I thought each of the characters was interesting. And the ending really stuck with me. It was a fun time

  • Downsizing

So I think it should've been wayyy shorter and the beginning is pretty shit, but I really liked the last half.

I get why people don't like it, and it gave me big uncanny valley vibes. Compelles me tho

  • The Princess Bride

    The Princess Bride

I didn't think this was a comedy as a kid and I still loved it.

It's been several years since I last watched it, and now I realize just how unique this movie is lmao

  • Destino

I liked it :) ball went woosh

  • Hook

It's good and it has all the ingredients.

But it's really long. Like it kinda just keeps going. And also it feels like not a kids movie?

And I know those are only two problems, so it's quite good but those two problems kind of make it difficult to watch.

I swear I'm just like John Adams except instead of being obnoxious and disliked, I'm obnoxious and enjoyable

  • National Treasure

    National Treasure

As a kid I called this movie national blabber. The context of why doesn't make much sense. One day my siblings suggested we watch this and I, being 7, decided to say "I don't wanna watch national blabber."

    It's good tho.

  • Independence Day

    Independence Day

Not exactly my thing, but incredibly fun. Lots of nostalgia attached to this. Also all the models for the aliens and the ships are suuuper cool

  • Quest for Camelot

    Quest for Camelot

    Actually a masterpiece.

Garret might've been a queer awakening for me as a kid.

I also kinda miss seeing characters in kids movies fall in love as the story goes on? Like the love songs and the slow realization is pretty killer, much better than just a final kiss.

Also Ruber is an S tier antagonist and I firmly believe he is queer coded but in like, a good way

  • You Were Never Really Here

    You Were Never Really Here

Just so excellently made. I like how it refuses to glorify any subject matter that is brought up.
I forgot just how heavy and brutal this movie is though. I really should buy the novella

  • 8½

I do not think I understand this movie. I really think I'm missing some critical piece of understanding.
I did enjoy it. I thought it had a refreshingly normal aesthetic for such an odd (dare I say surreal) film. I also kept forgetting who was who with the faces and names. There were so many people in this movie.
Debated giving it 4 stars, but that's really hinged on me feeling like I missed something, but perhaps I didn't.…
