Bradley’s review published on Letterboxd:
the way Tarantino reels the audience into this world and environment is some of his strongest filmmaking in a long time. he’s much more controlled and lets the sights and sounds pull the audience in. the small moments of Cliff driving or Sharon walking down the street make this world feel so real with so little going on. it’s the small character moments that makes the film work so well. that scene where Rick and Cliff watch FBI as we hear their commentary in the background, perfection.
lots of this came together better on a rewatch even though i completely understand many of the criticisms the film has gotten. though the Bruce Lee scene i still find troublesome.
