Josh Stewart’s review published on Letterboxd:
I’ll never forget the time my mom and I went to see this at a theater knowing nothing about it, assuming it was just a slasher movie. I was probably 12? And as soon as the awkward-ass threesome scene hit boy did we realize we’d underestimated the movie lol
Anyway, film bros be damned, this is a brilliant satire about an awful person who is not to be emulated despite being occasionally amusing. The scene where he just pours out his ideas for solving all the world’s major sociopolitical issues before proceeding to do nothing but crimes for the next 90 minutes is such a beautiful touch.
