Brendon’s review published on Letterboxd:
A sad and beautiful coming of age film that shows the impact that love, sex and friendship can have on teenage life and how it shapes them into the adults they are today. I think all three main actors are amazing in this, they all worked so well together and they're chemistry is so strong in every scene. The writing and directing from Alfonso Cuarón is brilliant but the thing I loved most is the camerawork. His films always have great long takes and gorgeous cinematography that make every shot that much more powerful. The ending scene is one of the most depressing that I can remember watching because of how real it is and it shows that not everyone will be in your life for the long run and that nothing is permanent in life.
