A clever commentary on this internet hellhole we call home while also being a good fun chaotic film. The found footage genre rules anyone who disagrees is wrong idc.

Slowly finishing my way through this list of Letterboxds 100 highest rated animated movies in 2022, this is the 84th ive watched. (Currently 81% complete, since the list is forever changing)

So this was a fairly unique viewing experience... for context, i saw the other film by Michel Ocelot earlier this month and i ended up being so utterly bored by it I didnt even finish it.
So, knowing there was another one of his in this list, i was…

Andrew Garfield is so damn amazing. The fact he learned to sing and play piano for the role is nuts i didnt even know that was an option, and you absolutely cannot tell.

    The House

3 entirely separate stories told with some proper good stopmotion, for me the first chapter was considerably better than the other two.

The first chapter has a geniunely intriguing mystery to it and is actually a terrific standalone horror short, I'd recommend checking that our for sure, its only 30 minutes long.

Kind of wish this was more connected to, really theres no connection between the stories, hell the only thing that does connect them is the houses exterior.

    Kill Bill: Vol. 2

Love how different this is from Vol. 1. Like each for different reasons but i like 1 a lot better. Definitely will rewatch the two someday.

Fun fact: when Uma Thurman is burried and takes of her boots shes got socks on but when she arrives at the cabin shes barefeet! This is an easter egg about the fact that quintin tarantino likes feet!

  • Kill Bill: Vol. 1

    Kill Bill: Vol. 1

You cant just show me such a well made animated segment and never direct an animated movie Quarantino. Coward.

Looks extremely good, costume design and set design are top notch and so is the cinematography. Some really good badass stuff. If your action movie has some banging good music like this its instantly way better. Might end up pushing this to 4.5.

    What the fuck

Gotta watch more movies with Choi-Min Sik in it, and gotta watch more Park Chan-Wook! This was only my first of his but definitely wont be the last. Doubt this will end up being my favorite of his work tho.
