'A Quiet Place Part II' just falls the short of topping the original, but still serves as a very effective sequel that delivers in nearly every aspect. The film ups the ante in nearly every aspect, and the exploration of the larger world that these characters attempt to survive in is very interesting. John Krasinski as a director has really found his footing in his direction, and it's clear to see from the difference between this and the original. His ability to visually story tell is great. The addition of Cillian Murphy is a nice touch, and he holds his own alongside our already established family, but the real standout here is the sound design. Like the original, the sound is unique and extremely well done. It's interesting to sit in a full cinema in dead silence. It's interesting, and as I didn't see the original in a cinema, it's a truly unique experience. 'A Quiet Place Part II' just falls short of the original, but is a lot of fun, serving as an effective sequel that deserves to be seen in a packed cinema.
