This was a pretty good gangster movie, that just so happens to take place in London. Hoskins is a gangster trying to get into the property management, with the funding help from American gangsters, and as they're in London in meetings, someone begins to set off a series of bombings and some of Hoskins' men start getting murdered.

While it was fun to see Dillon, Estevez and Tilly in an earlier film, I kind of had beef with Dillon as a lead here.

I loved this book growing up and it really is one of the more perfect films from my childhood...and it was made 8 years before I was born!!!

The kids are all fantastic and the ways they got them all were pretty fantastic. The music is great. The Oompa Loompa song is a classic. Discovering all this candy is such an adventure.
