Okay, I watched this movie again today, in the theater, and I love it. It's really meant to be seen on the big screen.

The experience of the sound mixing and the size of things like ships and sandworms, really brings you into the world.

I do think I appreciate this movie even more, & watching it at home made it easier for me to be distracted. This movie asks for your full attention and rewards you for it. I really…

This movie does so many things, and holds up so well. Comedy, light enough horror to be spooky, and sci-fi. The cast chemistry is great, and some of the most quotable lines ever are from this classic.

    This movie just rules.

I do think if you're not already a fan of Dune, I'm not sure if this will make you one. The thing is, this story is more a part one of a series. I think Dune would work better as a TV show.

The world, creatures, effects and characters are all really interesting, but I just kept…
